Elvis Presley’s film debut and the only movie in which he didn’t have top billing. The ‘King’ became so popular that the studio had to write in extra lines for Elvis for the film. Originally, the movie was supposed to be a ‘B’ movie but when the studio managed to sign Elvis it was hastily upgraded to an ‘A’ movie and given a budget of $1,000,000. |
