Window Cards
Window Cards
Window cards, although difficult to ship (due to the larger packages needed as they need to ship flat) are great things to collect. They measure 14” x 22” and were printed on heavier card stock.
Almost all window cards were printed with a blank space above the poster image which usually measured around 4”. The reason for this is so that the local cinema/theatre could print their name and dates of when the film was showing. This would have been handwritten, glued on with a snipe or left blank. Occasionally the top area above the image was trimmed and should only be considered as a minor defect.
